- Independently inspect and assess property damage related to covered claims.
- Utilize Xactimate and Symbility to prepare thorough, accurate estimates.
- Make coverage recommendations based on policy language and claim investigation.
- Communicate professionally with policyholders, contractors, and insurance carriers.
- Submit reports, damage assessments, and estimates within required timeframes.
- Maintain knowledge of local construction costs, repair procedures, and regulations.
- Ensure timely and professional claims resolution in alignment with industry best practices.
- Maintain necessary licensing and continuing education requirements.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in property claims adjusting.
- Hold a valid property adjuster license for Wisconsin or the state where you operate.
- Ability to work independently without supervision, exercising sound judgment.
- Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise with Xactimate and Symbility for estimate preparation.
- General knowledge of construction principles and building materials.
- Owns or has access to necessary tools and equipment for inspections (ladder, safety gear, measuring tools, etc.).
- Maintains professional liability insurance, if required.
- Ability to climb ladders, enter attics/crawlspaces, and work on roofs as needed.
- Strong time management and organization skills to handle multiple claims.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

What You’ll Do
As a 1099 Independent Field Adjuster, you will operate as your own business, providing expert property claims adjusting services on behalf of our clients. You will be responsible for handling claims from inspection to resolution while maintaining compliance with state and client-specific guidelines.
