Responsibilities As a Discounter, this position necessitates someone who is highly dependable, good with details, has strong retention abilities and works well in a fast-paced environment individual and in a team environment. This position will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service to our dealer base, ensure submitted contract packages are complete and accurate according to the Indirect Department and Bank policy/guidelines for funding. Cooperates and builds a strong working relationship with peers to provide quality service, solve problems and achieve bank and departmental goals Ensures submitted contracts and loan packages are complete, accurate and reflect proper approval authorities in adherence to Indirect Department and Bank policy/guidelines Closely inspects loan documents for suspicious or fraudulent documentation Ensures the accuracy of contract figures, disclosures, signatures and documentation for contract funding Identifies errors in calculations and/or missing documentation; work with dealership for correction and help maintain department exceptions Refers major loan violations to Supervisor/Manager for review Provides quality service to customers, whether internal or external Maintains logs and spreadsheets used within the department Maintains proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all job-specific training requirements in a timely fashion Performs other related duties as assigned or directed Qualifications Education, Training and Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required Associates Degree or equivalent in work experience preferred Skills: Proficient reading, writing, grammar and mathematics skills Proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills Good time managements skills Ability to prioritize and work effectively under time constraints Moderate computer and typing skills to include Microsoft Word/Excel Must be able to consistently demonstrate the Company's core values; a strong work ethic, integrity, respect for others, responsibility, transparency and humility Experience: Two (2) to (four (4) years banking experience preferred with knowledge of the Bank’s lending products and services as well as a working knowledge of the required documentation for all loan types Other Job Information Hours: 40 hours/week; Monday-Friday with rotating shifts to include some Holidays and Saturdays Compensation: Commensurate with experience plus potential for annual merit increase.
