- Register and maintain lodging tax accounts with various government agencies.
- Analyze and format data for timely lodging tax return filing.
- Interact with varying government agencies to ensure tax collection practices are periodically updated.
- Process payments in support of compliance and tax filings.
- Improve the efficiency of tax processes and controls through technology.
- Perform other administrative tasks and projects as needed.
- 2-3+ years of transactional accounting experience (1+ years if highly relevant).
- Experience in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), or Indirect Tax (Sales Tax) for 6 months to 1 year.
- Proficiency in Excel (SUMIFs, VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Attention to detail.
- Solution and results-oriented.
- Personable and professional.
- NetSuite experience.
- Adobe experience.
- Industry experience in Hospitality, Property Management, or Real Estate is preferred but not required.
- Highly organized and thorough.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency with Google apps for business.

We are looking for an Indirect Tax Accountant to support our Tax Team. The ideal candidate must have a basic understanding of accounting and tax, be highly self-motivated and directed, committed to solving problems efficiently, and interested in being part of an organization committed to continuous growth and improvement. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00
