Overview Responsible for leading and overseeing our organization's interactions with government entities, and other stakeholders. This role will also develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to build and maintain positive relationships with these key stakeholders, advocating for our organization's interests and advancing our mission. Responsibilities Business results Own and drive the advocacy and government relations activities of the business especially in the areas of industry/trade, manufacturing, plastic waste management, water stewardship, sustainable agriculture, taxation, and health/wellness Influence public policy in support of the industry objectives and enhance the company's reputation by actively engaging the trade/industry associations and other partners. Proactively monitor key policies and ensure early identification of regulatory business risks and align internal stakeholders to address the relevant risks Lead the full compliance of regulatory requirement covering permits/licenses/approvals for the facility operation and the business, familiar with OSS, BPOM, SIINAS process. Lead, counsel and coach business leaders and team members on all government advocacy to safeguard PepsiCo products and business Represent the company in external meetings with governments, third parties, and various industry/trade associations and partners Drive Future Success Sponsor and oversee business activities – including developing external partnerships, private-public partnerships and government engagement, and help shape policies to create favorable environment for our business. Be a pivotal partner with PepsiCo partner to ensure value-add to their Corporate Affairs efforts as well as consistency with the interests of PepsiCo Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Political Science, International Affairs, Legal, Communications, Economics or related field or related experience. At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in a corporate affairs, government affairs, PPGA, legal Industry exposure to fast moving consumer goods would be highly advantageous Proven track record in senior stakeholder management and advising the board and leadership on the most effective corporate affairs strategies Strategic thinking to set direction and shape future environment as well as executional excellence Strong communication skills; must also be able to effectively communicate with executives, government and general audience. Required Knowledge and Experience The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of government affairs, stakeholders engagement, and public policy, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills. This is a senior leadership position that requires strong strategic thinking, relationship-building abilities, and a passion for driving positive change through effective government and community relations.Bachelor's degree in Political Science, International Affairs, Legal, Communications, Economics or related field or related experience.
