- two sections of twin running, tunnel boring machines, tunnels with a total combined length of approximately 9.8 km, plus associated portal dive structures and tunnel support activities
- station box excavations with temporary ground support at St Marys, Orchard Hills, Western Sydney Airport Terminal, Western Sydney Aerotropolis and two intermediate service facilities, one in each of the tunnel sections.
- facilitate, run and manage the weekly project induction
- Assist the training team in the validation of operator competency, including conducting visual inspections of competency
- Coordinate and support the internal project inductions through zoom and face to face.
- Support the training team with the develop design and delivery of training systems, programs, and activities in conjunction with internal/ external training providers
- Maintain relationships with key training providers and suppliers.
- Qualification in Training & Development or associated disciplines. Cert 1V in Training and Assessment (desirable)
- Prior experience in an administrative position preferably within the Construction, mining, or manufacturing industry.
- High level of proficiency and expertise utilising Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant programs
- Be able to work across a wide range of staff groups, from senior leadership through to operational and project staff and external providers.
- Ability to plan, schedule and coordinate training events and logistics.
- Exceptional communication skills.

Induction/Training Coordinator- SM WSA-SBT
CPB Contractors in joint venture with Ghella have been selected by the NSW Government to deliver to deliver the Sydney Metro - Western Sydney Airport Station Boxes and Tunnelling Works (WSA-SBT). The project will involve the design and construction of a new metro tunnel around 9.8 kilometres in length between St Marys in the north and the Aerotropolis Core precinct in the south.
The design and construction scope includes the following:
Major works are scheduled to commence in 2022 and continue until 2025.
Your opportunity
The SM WSA-SBT team is currently accepting applications for an experienced trainer/inductions coordinator to manage the inductions process for the project and assist with internal VOC process.

As an Induction/Training Coordinator, you will be required to provide administration support and coordination to ensure project inductions deliver the mobilization needs across the Sydney Metro- Western Sydney Airport Station Boxes and Tunnelling project.
