Job Description

- Installation: Install, repair and maintain electrical concepts, systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout and installation of wiring, equipment and fixtures.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electrical problems in industrial machinery and equipment, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters and oscilloscopes.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Identify and mitigate electrical hazards.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure their longevity and prevent potential breakdowns.
- Equipment Calibration: Calibrate and maintain industrial equipment to ensure accurate and efficient operation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance and operations personnel to coordinate electrical work in conjunction with other maintenance activities.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of electrical installations, repairs and maintenance activities. Document any changes made to electrical systems.
- Upgrades and Modifications: Participate in upgrading or modifying electrical systems to improve efficiency, reliability and performance.
- Emergency Response: Respond to emergency calls for electrical repairs and provide prompt solutions to minimize production downtime.
- Ability to maintain positive relations within all levels of the organization.
- Ability to communicate, present facts and provide recommendations effectively in oral and written form.
- Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with or without direct supervision as well as independently or in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism while under pressure and in the face of adversity.
- Ability to prioritize and work with accuracy under stress.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 480-Power Knowledge and PIC knowledge
- 2 years of experience in similar position
- Bilingual English/Spanish language skills is a plus
Industrial Electrician

Summary
The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of electrical systems and equipment in an industrial environment. This includes installing new electrical systems, troubleshooting and repairing existing systems, and performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Physical/Cognitive Demands:
This is largely a physically active role including walking long distances (over uneven surfaces) to/within our production facility, lifting 50lbs or more, and standing for long periods. Position also requires bending, stooping, squatting or standing as necessary. Cognitive abilities required include deductive reasoning, information ordering, oral comprehension, oral expression, problem sensitivity, written comprehension, and written expression.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. The hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Evening and weekend work will be required as job duties demand.
