Job Title: Industrial Engineer
Job Description
Join our MIT-Internal Logistics Department as a passionate and highly motivated Industrial Engineer. In this role, you will lead MIT-Internal Logistics projects and collaborate with cross-functional groups. Reporting to the Internal Logistics Manager, your primary responsibility will be to support the department's objective to optimize the supply chain by balancing the requirements of External Logistics, Production Engineering Planning, and Manufacturing Groups to develop the most efficient internal delivery process. You will become an SME for our tool 'Flowgen' while working with engineering groups and manufacturing departments to troubleshoot and improve parts flow issues related to new model management. Additionally, you will collaborate directly with departments and Pilot Engineers to confirm process requirements, tool development, and system compliance requirements. Your main role will be to learn and teach the FlowGen tool across the region and serve as the primary backup for simulation. You will also be responsible for creating and updating training documentation, as well as sending out periodic updates of key performance indicators to end users.

Work Environment
This role requires working with 3D and 2D CAD design and involves 75% travel across North America, including Canada and Mexico. This is an onsite position.
