  Industrial Engineers plan plant, production facilities and equipment layouts'' determines the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow'' and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. Develops metrics to measure equipment and factory capacity and output, and to identify equipment and process flow bottlenecks. May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may plan and schedule training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations. Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment. Productivity IE is responsible for MOR management (EUPH and Goal Utilization) that includes ratification of MOR, MOR methodologies, and PHI management. Productivity IE works closely with engineering/manufacturing to drive higher tool/labor productivity and tool utilization. Productivity IE actively involved in module team and VF MLG to ensure consistency across VF and local factory through standardization of process, model, and capacity system.

  Qualifications:

  Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent with 1-2 years of working experience in Industrial Engineering or any Engineering Preferred Skills for Candidates: Positive attitude with energy and passion Strong English verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical skill Ability to work effectively as an individual with minimal direction, and as part of a larger team Strategic and tactical thinker who could influence the business process and factory while providing coaching/guidance to meet the best resolutions. Ability to communicate strategic and tactical concepts across a wide range of employees; engineering peers to operational technicians to management Must be able to negotiate and resolve conflicts within all levels of the organization to a win/win solution Basic understanding of data structures/query fundamentals and experience in scripting languages (example Excel VBA and R Language)
