      Primary Duties

      • Program routers to cut polycarbonate, HMW, and LDPE for the various products we manufacture.
      • Program lasers to cut sheet steel and aluminum for our products.
      • Set up fabric cutters for all sewing runs.
      • Understand the principles of yield to ensure optimal use of materials and minimize waste.
      • Aim to reduce scrap to a bare minimum and explore creative ways to repurpose scrap materials.
      • Have a thorough understanding of tooling, speeds, and feeds.
      • Arrange products efficiently during nesting to maximize productivity.
      • Schedule production runs as needed.
      • Become an expert on the equipment you use for nesting, including a comprehensive understanding of how to operate and troubleshoot any issues that may arise with those units.

      Technical skills: CNC programming, blueprint reading

      Software skills: Microsoft office suite

      Language skills: N/A

      Lifting: N/A

      Education / Experience

      Education: Skills and abilities consistent with an engineering or technical degre

      Experience: Requires 3+ years of experience in an engineering or related manufacturing environment. CNC programming experience is a must.
