- designing, developing, testing, documenting, optimizing, and implementing assigned Industrial Operations IT systems
- supporting assigned Industrial Operations IT systems, people, hardware, software, and the IT infrastructure in assigned business areas
- troubleshooting problems with production Industrial Operations IT systems
- planning and prioritizing activities for their own work
- projecting and supporting efforts within the area of responsibility
- translating business needs, processes, and requirements into technical terms for vendors and/or I/S
- developing project plans and participating in estimating budgetary costs and resource requirements for assigned projects
- other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or in an analytical discipline, or equivalent experience
- 1 years of IT or business systems support experience
- Knowledge of Publix policies and guidelines

- 3 years of Industrial Operations systems experience or experience working closely with or supporting Industrial Operations systems
- Knowledge of Industrial Operations' business systems and processes
- Experience developing applications in Power Pages and/or Power Apps

The purpose of this position is to be responsible for the support, design and implementation of assigned complex Industrial Operations IT systems and processes across a larger scope of business operations. This position is also responsible for assuring that IT solutions meet the needs of the business operations, meet regulatory requirements, adhere to Information Systems (I/S) and Industrial Operations IT (Information Technology) standards and do not negatively impact the operations. Your efforts will directly contribute to the strategic and tactical decision-making processes within Industrial Operations, aligning with Publix's commitment to sustainability and excellence.

Year End Bonus
As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.
