Job Description

- Clean and inspect parts prior to painting
- Prep product for final paint
- Mix coatings with reducer and catalyst at correct mixtures, using color mixture equipment
- Spray primers/sealer with an air paint system
- Apply color and clear coating with spray equipment to meet coverage and gloss standards
- Correct errors in application
- Maintain spray equipment to meet operational standards (excluding repairs)
- Maintain paint booth cleanliness and change filters, signing log sheets
- Ensure hazardous waste is handled and placed in proper containers
- Know spill response procedures and evacuation plans
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Experience in industrial painting
- Experience with sanding, general labor, and hand tools
- Knowledge of auto body, coating, paint sprayer, sandblasting, paint manufacturing, and painting
- Experience with paint prep, spray gun, paint booth, and powder coating
- Knowledge of blueprints
- Preferred 1-year experience in automotive paint prep
- Preferred high school diploma or GED
- Ability to run dual action sanders, grinders, and miscellaneous hand tools
- Full knowledge of quality requirements to produce acceptable finish paint
- Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to learn how to mix primers and other paint products
- General knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards
- Knowledge of paint gun operation and maintenance
Industrial Painter
Job Description
We are looking for dedicated and skilled Industrial Painters to join our paint department, which consists of three levels. Candidates can start at various levels based on their experience and skillset, with opportunities for growth and advancement. The primary responsibility will be painting and prepping industrial trucks and their parts.

Work Environment
This is a manufacturing environment with 160 hourly employees on the floor at one time. The facility has expanded multiple times and is larger on the inside than it appears. Team sizes vary from 6-15 people. Physical demands include frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and climbing ladders and scaffolding. Must be able to lift and move 40 lbs. regularly, work with arms above head, and operate all protective safety equipment. The environment is non-temperature-controlled and can exceed 95 degrees. Mandatory work hours are currently 6 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday.

This is a Permanent position based out of Snyder, Nebraska.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $62400.00/yr.
Health insurance, 401K, pto, sick leave, paid leave, 40+ hour work weeks
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Snyder,NE.
