  Industrial/Automation Electricians (442A or 309A) Wanted in Aurora, ON!

  Job Description

  We are seeking an Industrial or Manufacturing Maintenance Electrician with a valid 442A or 309A Electrician’s license and extensive experience in troubleshooting, modifications, and working with Fanuc Robotics and CNC Machines. The role involves continuous improvement of hardware and robot program applications for CNC, PLC, PC, Motion Control, and Automation Vision Systems, as well as developing and managing new control system application projects. This is a 1-year contract, with the potential to transfer to other company facilities for continues career growth!

  Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and modify programs for Fanuc Robotics and CNC Machines.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of hardware and robot program applications for CNC, PLC, PC, Motion Control, and Automation Vision Systems.
  • Develop and manage new control system application projects.
  • Assist in asset operations for special projects, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and programming.

  Requirements

  • Minimum 8-10 years of related experience in Automation & Robotics programming.
  • Valid 442A (preferred) or 309A Electrician’s license with knowledge of applicable electrical codes.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electric circuitry including relays, PC, CNC, and PLC logic, drives, panel mates, press and weld controls.
  • Experience with Fanuc Robotics, Fanuc iRVision, AutoCAD, and various control systems including Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, Omron, and Delta.
  • Capability to perform basic wiring work and build control panels.
  • Strong understanding of the English language and a commitment to health and safety.
  • Willingness to adapt to new systems introduced within the department and company.

  Shift & Work Environment

  The role requires work in the afternoons from 3-11 PM, Monday to Friday. Flexibility is needed for overtime, weekends, holidays, plant shutdowns, and covering three shifts if required. The environment is a fast-paced manufacturing facility, demanding the ability to work with minimal supervision.

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $48.00/hr.
