      We are currently inviting applications for the position of:


      Winter CO-OP Student, Industry Programming Assistant


      Reporting to the Production Manager, the Winter CO-OP Student, Industry Programming Assistant will collaborate with the Industry team to provide research for our industry programming and talent development initiatives, which helps the department plan and deliver world class programmes for film creators and industry professionals.


      This is an unpaid , educational opportunity for students enrolled in an applicable program, seeking a placement for course credit . The selected candidate will be asked to provide TIFF with a letter outlining their eligibility to undertake the placement for course credit. As a Co-op Student at TIFF, you will receive support and development opportunities from your direct supervisor and from the People and Culture department.       The ideal candidate:

      • Is interested in gaining new insights about working in arts and culture; as a student, you can expect to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of the industry.

      • Has familiarity with Google products (i.e. Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Presentation, etc.) and basic computer skills.

      • Is willing to develop skills that require attention to detail and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks.

      • Is interested in learning more about Canadian and international film and television landscapes and trends.

      • Enthusiastic, ambitious, self-motivated, and open to working in a team environment.

      RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Research talent development/Industry programming and international development opportunities

      • Support in creating research documents and presentations as requested.


      CONTRACT DATES:

      • January 2025 to April 2025 (exact schedule to be negotiated with student based on Programme requirements)
