      Job Summary

The Inflight Tech Mobility Analyst is part o f the Inflight Mobility and Strategy Team that supports our Flight Attendants. This role serves as a liaison between Inflight and Technology Teams and will develop a thorough understanding of Inflight Operations business procedures to ensure the release of technological solutions for operational and business needs. The Inflight Tech Mobility Analyst is a self-start er who is a skilled communicator excited to use their innovative mindset to support Inflight Operations and drive the future of Technology at Southwest .

      Additional details:

This role is a hybrid position based out of our Corporate Campus in Dallas, TX, which requires Employees to work onsite on our Corporate Campus at least three days a week. The Department designates the specific three days of the week Employees must work on-site.

      Responsibilities

      • Learn and apply the processes, & procedures for Inflight Mobility

      • Provide friendly service to and works in a cooperative spirit with all internal and external Customers to ensure the success of our Company

      • Provide support for mobile apps used by our end users. (i.e. Flight Attendants and other Inflight departments)

      • Work with Technology to coordinate and validate software releases by thoroughly executing the appropriate test catalog

      • Monitor app performance and coordinate with Technology and vendors for problem resolution

      • Identify, evaluate, and document system errors and requested enhancements

      • Identify, gather, and document requirements for new and updated business needs through meetings and communication with end users

      • Provide clear and concise requirements documentation to the Technology department

      • Interact with the user groups, the Technology department, and vendors to set priorities and verify the status of outstanding issues

      • Gather requirements in a group setting by preparing an agenda and managing the group discussion, or by interviewing individual Subject Matter Experts (SME's) and asking detailed questions

      • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders

      • Ability to work well with others as part of a Team

      • Skilled in organization, motivated and capable of working on tasks with a moderate amount of assistance from other team members and leadership supervision

      • Skilled in public speaking and presenting to various levels of Leadership

      • Ability to learn and effectively use a variety of software applications

      • Ability to read, analyze, interpret technical procedures, business periodicals, and governmental regulations

      • Ability to work within specified time frames in both supervised and unsupervised environments

      • Ability to handle frequent interruptions and adjust to changing priorities identified with assistance from your Leader

      • Ability to effectively analyze and present information, both written and verbal, and communicate with all levels of the user community

      Education
      • Required: High School Diploma or GED

      Experience
      • Intermediate level experience, fully functioning broad knowledge in:
        • Support of business applications, platforms, customer service, and testing
        • Airline operations including, but not limited to, Crew Scheduling, Crew Planning, or Technical Solutions Team

      Licensing/Certification
      • N/A

      Physical Abilities
      • Ability to perform work duties from limited space work station/desk/office area for extended periods of time
      • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
      • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job

      Other Qualifications
      • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
      • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
      • Must be at least 18 years of age
      • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
      • Extended work hours and some weekends may occasionally be required to meet project deadlines or to resolve urgent production issues and system deployments

      Pay & Benefits:

      Competitive market salary from $84,250 per year to $93,700 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.
