      Job summary

      The post holder will play a key role in proactively developing the effective use and interpretation of information to support Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber (RDaSH) NHS Foundation Trust.

      The role encompasses collation, analysis and interpretation of information and reporting requests across a wide variety of operational services, development of routine and ad hoc reports presented in a clear and understandable format and supporting managers and clinicians in defining their information requirements to meet strategic, operational and clinical needs

      To provide support a high quality information management service and engage with clinicians, senior managers and colleagues from a wide range of teams and services to support them in their use and interpretation of information.

      Business analysis of clinical and management information and reporting requests to support business planning and performance improvement.

      Main duties of the job

      Main duties of this post is to undertake business analysis and scoping for new information and reporting requirements

      The postholder will be expected to collate, analyse and interpret clinical and management information requests from a wide variety of sources and across a range of operational services

      The postholder will work with tools such SQL, Power BI and SSRS andwill need to proactively engage with colleagues in the Trust and other key contacts to achieve a shared understanding of information requirements and support the development of effective working relationships.

      The postholder will be expected to provide technical expertise to staff within the Information team and other colleagues as appropriate on a range of topics, for example, highly complex queries to extract datasets, creating reports, using advanced features of reporting systems/software
