      Job Summary

      • This position actively drives participation in the development, evaluation, and reporting of information technology security controls and risks mitigation strategies as well as security processes in the IT and business environments.
      • Delivers and may assist other team members in risk identification and mitigation strategies and processes, control documentation, evaluation of control design, evaluation of control operation, reporting of control deficiencies, and remediation strategies.
      • Reviews current processes for improvements in control documentation & testing for effectiveness and efficiency.
      • Also collects information on control failures/unmitigated risks and remediation results to build compliance reports for IT and business management.
      • Provides advisory services for IT controls to projects, teams, and audits by ensuring consistent control implementation through documented processes for identifying control requirements prior to their implementation into production IT environments.

      Education and/or Experience

      • Working knowledge of current and emerging quality/risk management theory, industry best practices and quality frameworks such as ISO, Lean Six Sigma, CMMI and ITIL.
      • Bachelor’s degree in related area is preferred.
      • 4+ years of related experience in IT, project management, compliance, or security areas is preferred.

      Licensure/Certification/Registration

      • Applicable vendor or industry-recognized certification in an appropriate discipline is preferred.

      Work Schedule

      • Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, occas wknd/hol/call; 80hrs/2wks

      Pay

      The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

      • $31.75 - $48.00 per hour
