Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Information Security Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) program. You will be responsible for supporting the implementation, customization, and operation of our Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solution, while driving continuous improvement through policy creation, tuning, and data privacy adherence. As a key member of the GRC team, you will actively participate in risk assessments, incident response, and policy development for the broader security ecosystem. Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities DLP Management: Implement, configure, and tune DLP policies to proactively prevent data breaches and unauthorized data loss. Analyze DLP alerts and investigate potential security incidents, conducting thorough root cause analysis and taking appropriate corrective actions. Develop and refine DLP policies to ensure optimal coverage and minimize false positives. Stay abreast of evolving data security threats and adapt DLP configurations accordingly. GRC Integration: Participate in GRC risk assessments, identifying and analyzing information security risks and recommending appropriate controls. Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to implement and enforce security policies and procedures. Assist in the development and maintenance of comprehensive security policies and standards. Contribute to continuous improvement of the GRC program through data analysis, reporting, and recommending optimization strategies. Data Privacy Expertise: Apply a strong understanding of data privacy regulations and industry best practices to DLP implementation and policy creation. Support data subject access requests and manage data deletion processes in accordance with applicable regulations. Stay informed about evolving data privacy landscape and advise on relevant compliance requirements. Technical Skills: Solid understanding of network security principles, data protection technologies, and incident response procedures. Proficiency in DLP solutions (specific experience with Microsoft Purview preferred). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and troubleshoot DLP issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders across various departments. Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems is a plus. Minimum Qualifications Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older Must pass pre-employment assessment(s) if applicable Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum 2+ years of experience working as an Information Security Analyst or similar role. Proven experience in implementing, configuring, and operating DLP solutions. Demonstrated knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
