      Job Summary:

      The Information Security Analyst role is to assist the Information Security Officer in safeguarding the banks systems and network. This includes both hands-on administration of security devices and software as well as owning and constantly improving security processes.

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

      • Responsible for day-to-day configuration and running of security tools such as SentinalOne, Rapid7 InsightVM, Tanium, Mimecast, Imperva and Okta
      • Proactive and demonstrates ownership of tools and processes – initiative to find opportunities for automation, streamlining and providing better services to business stakeholders
      • Willing to search out new ways of improving systems and adding value, looks to pull additional work to help out the team when core tasks are completed
      • Plan, implement and upgrade security measures and controls, including new tools and processes if needed
      • Test and evaluate physical security controls, create and deliver physical and virtual badges as needed
      • Help design and provide reporting to show effectiveness of security controls
      • Owning and updating runbooks and procedure documents
      • Provide targeted help and training to users who have issues failing phishing tests or clicking on suspicious links
      • Work with internal stakeholders to help resolve vulnerabilities and overdue patches
      • Work with infrastructure teams to ensure all new systems have security tools installed and functioning, and report on metrics to show progress
      • Participate in and provide evidence for internal and external audits, particularly FFIEC and state exams
      • Researching and tracking information about current security threats and potential vulnerabilities
      • Researching and evaluating security devices and software
      • Recommend and install appropriate tools and countermeasures
      • Train fellow employees in security awareness and procedures
      • Coordinate security plans with outside vendors
      • Administration of security devices and software
      • Perform other related duties as assigned

      Requirements:

      • 3 years information security work experience
      • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, etc. highly valued
      • Must have a deep understanding of computer security concepts including networking, kill chains, access management, incident management, and risk & compliance
      • Must have a deep understanding of information technology industry trends and emerging technologies and an ability to relate them to the company and its objectives
      • Experience with Active Directory, Windows and Linux
      • Good communication skills including both technical and business writing
      • Ability to interpret and translate business requirements into technical security requirements that meet enterprise security standards and policies
      • Act with integrity, take pride in your work, seek to excel, be curious, adaptable and communicate well
