      What you’ll be doing:

      You’ll be a key member of the Threat & Vulnerability Management team within Threat Defence. Your responsibilities will include organising and overseeing penetration testing (pentesting), and you’ll have the opportunity to get involved with other ethical hacking activities such as red teaming .

      In addition to this you’ll spend time working within Threat Management, where you’ll have the opportunity to plan and conduct threat hunts and learn advanced threat hunting skills using modern security tooling.

      You’ll also have the opportunity to support broader Threat & Vulnerability Management activities, such as vulnerability assessment and threat intelligence reporting.

      This role is a great opportunity to develop and grow skills and experience in a wide range of cyber security areas.

      What you’ll have:

      • A foundational knowledge of cyber security and some of its key concepts , with a desire to continue developing professionally, and a continuous growth mindset

      • Experience of working with people across multiple levels, with the ability to talk about technical subjects to a varied audience of technical and non-technical people

      • Demonstrable broad IT knowledge and hands-on experience of IT systems in either professional or personal capacity

      • Awareness of the overall cyber threat landscape and knowledge of some of the key threats faced by a retailer

      • Excellent problem solving & organisational skills.

      What else you could bring:

      • Knowledge of, or experience working on, IT service teams such as help desks.

      • Knowledge or experience of penetration testing processes. Experience of ethical hacking exercises, such as Capture the Flag, would be very beneficial.

      • Knowledge or experience of threat hunting, such as how to create a threat hunt hypothesis or performing hunts using security tooling.

      • Formal accreditation in Information Security, such as a related degree, Certified Ethical Hacker, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Pentest+ or similar.
