Novacoast Staffing is currently assisting an Enterprise-sized organization in its search for an Information Security Engineer/ Analyst that is experienced in Active Directory and Endpoint protection. This role is contract-to-hire and will work hybrid with 3 days onsite in Westlake Village and two days remote.

The Information Security team is focused on protecting the business, utilizing cutting-edge technology, and constant learning. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within the IS space with leadership dedicated to ongoing training.

In this role, you will:

• Identify security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities in regard to networks, systems, applications, and cloud (Primary responsibility)
• Create operational documentation and processes (Secondary responsibility)
• Be on call, respond to after-hour support issues, work extended hours

Required skills:

• 4 years of relevant work experience (in addition to a degree or years of previous experience), with a network engineering and/or system administration background (Unix/Linux/Windows)
• Experience with Identity Management solutions( OKTA or Ping identity) a huge plus
• Experience with Enterprise security tools, endpoint protection, CASB, DLP, etc
• Intermediate understanding of security impacts of network protocols TCP/IP, HTTP, etc.
• Intermediate knowledge of authentication, authorizations, and public/private key encryption
• Intermediate documentation and process creation skills
• Experience with scripting in any of the following: Perl, Python, Unix Shell
• Understanding of exploits, intrusion detection, and incident response
• Understanding of system hardening for OS platforms and applications
• Bonus - Experience with DevSecOps and infrastructure-as-cloud

Pay Rate:$90,000- $115,000/ annually depending on background and experience.
