      JOB SUMMARY
      Develops and implements enterprise information security architectures and solutions.

      Analyzes business impact and exposure based on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities and risks. Communicates security risks and solutions to organization and IT staff as needed. Researches, designs and advocates new technologies, architectures and security products that will support security requirements for the enterprise. Serves as a security expert in application development, database design, network and/or platform (operating system) efforts, helping project teams comply with enterprise and IT security policies, industry regulations and best practices. Contributes to the development and maintenance of information security strategy and architecture. Performs other duties as assigned.

      MUST LIVE IN DFW AREA. HYBRID ROLE REQUIRES PRESENCE WEEKLY IN OFFICE.

      EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
      Required

      • Education
        Bachelor's Degree in a computer science and technology or related field.

      • Experience
        4 years of experience and three (3) of those years in an information security position or role.

      Preferred

      • Experience
        Prior experience with software or appliances used for vulnerability scanning, remote system administration, network monitoring and protection, and security notification preferred.
        Experience as a security or technology administrator in a healthcare or higher education environment.
        Experience using the following or similar information security technologies: Vulnerability scanners (Nmap, Nessus, Nexpose), Network monitoring and protection systems (Cisco NAC, SourceFire, Tripwire, Splunk), Data loss prevention systems, Intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS\IPS)

      • Licenses and Certifications
        (CISSP) CERT INFO SYSTEMS SECURTY PROF and
        (CISA) CERT INFO SYSTEMS AUDITOR and
        (GIAC) GLOBAL INFORMTN ASSURANCE CERT and
        CEH
