      Job Summary:
      The Information Security Compliance Specialist is responsible for identifying and implementing necessary controls and processes to maintain privacy and security certifications including ISO 27001, SOC 2, and others. They will proactively identify security and privacy concerns, lead audits, and drive improvement initiatives to ensure the confidentiality of information, customer satisfaction, and positive patient outcomes.

      Duties/Responsibilities:
      - Stay current on privacy and security requirements such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.
      - Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams.
      - Raise security and privacy awareness throughout the company by maintaining up-to-date training materials.
      - Collaborate with the Privacy Officer and Information Security department to develop and update procedures.
      - Ensure the application of ISMS procedures and security controls.
      - Identify gaps between established procedures and actual practices and propose solutions.
      - Lead internal and external ISMS audits, review reports, and provide guidance for corrective actions.
      - Collaborate with internal teams to document trends and risks and drive initiatives for improvement.
      - Ensure consistent and efficient adherence to documented processes.
      - Act as a technical expert on security/ISMS questions and questionnaires.
      - Coordinate process changes in response to new regulations.

      Qualifications:
      - Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Business, or related fields (or equivalent certification).
      - 3 years of experience in information security management systems and/or Information Security.
      - Knowledge of ISO 27001 and/or SOC 2.
      - Experience in IT, software development, medical, and/or cloud hosting.
      - Training in security and privacy.
      - Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite (or similar workflow tools).
      - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
      - Well-organized and project-oriented.
      - Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
      - Ability to identify process gaps and propose solutions based on company maturity and available tools.
