What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Investigate various types of cybersecurity incidents and conduct detailed forensic data analysis
- Develop new detection capabilities to identify and respond to malicious activity
- Mentor junior security analysts and assist in their skill development
- Take on specialized projects to enhance security capabilities and toolsets
- Perform in-depth malware analysis and threat detection
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in Cyber Security Incident Response or a related field
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, 3 PM to 11:30 PM Eastern Time
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Advanced problem-solving skills and a dedication to staying current with cybersecurity threats
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with incident handling and managing incident response in complex enterprise environments
- Familiarity with forensic analysis tools and techniques
- Offensive security experience, including penetration testing and threat hunting
- Knowledge of current security threats and landscape
- Relevant SANS certifications, such as GCIH, GCFA, GCFE, or GREM
