What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze and comprehend laws, regulations, security policies, and standards
- Lead security frameworks, including the NIST Cyber Security Framework
- Participate in risk assessments and facilitate the implementation of security safeguards across IT
- Develop tracking for ongoing risk mitigation efforts and maintain security safeguards
- Monitor compliance programs related to PCI-DSS, SSA, FMCSA, and CJIS
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of two (2+) years of training or practical experience in IT Operations
- Minimum of two (2+) years of training or practical experience in Information Security Risk Management
- Strong work ethic and effective time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work inclusively as part of a team
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Cyber/Information Security
- Industry certifications such as CISSP
- Previous experience on a GRC team in a large organization
- Familiarity with enterprise GRC tools
