Job Description
- Req#: 1326-25
- Clearly articulate technical issues, solutions and activities to colleagues and clients with associated technical risks.
- Document, monitor, report on, and refine entitlements to company assets.
- Drive and manage project from inception to completion.
- Generate a comprehensive summary report at the end of the intern program which will be presented to IT.
- Attend Information Security Meetings in person when on-site.
- Well-developed practical operating knowledge of common desktop/laptop hardware and application software specifically:
- Windows
- MS Office Suite
- Print services and printers
- Basic system application, systems management, and data communication including basic networking in LAN/WAN environment.
- Excellent grades, especially in core information security and information technology courses.
- Understanding of key information security policy requirements, metrics, and reporting.
- Must work precisely, accurately, and with close attention to all details.
- High level of system aptitude and knowledge.
- Advanced organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be a US Citizen
- Technical school thru post graduate degree students are encouraged to apply – Information Technology, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or equivalent.
- This job interacts both in a professional office environment and a manufacturing/machine shop environment. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, as well as environments inclusive of the appropriate eye, hearing and foot protection (as required).
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk and hear.
- The Engineering Intern is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, and to use hands to finger, handle or feel
- The Information Security Intern is frequently required to sit at length, stand, walk, and move about the facility.
- The Information Security Intern may be required to lift and/or move items weighing up to 20 pounds
