      Colgate-Palmolive invites applications for the Spring 2024 Information Security Internship for the Global Information Technology (GIT) organization. This role is a paid six-month internship that will begin in January and continue into the spring with opportunity to extend beyond. Throughout our program, Interns will gain exposure to the latest business practices and cutting edge security technologies. Additionally, Interns will function as integral member of a team of dedicated offensive security attackers, to assess and compromise the organizational security posture. Essentially, the program is a structured education strategy integrating the students’ academic knowledge and career goals with learning through productive work experiences in a sphere related specifically to Global Information Technology’s security practice. Our Internship program provides students with valuable work experience as well as providing Colgate-Palmolive with a source of highly talented candidates.

      Responsibilities Include:

      • Contribute to the rollout of our Privileged Access Management platform

      • Develop and enhance integrations with PAM platform that include Splunk, FreshService, and xSOAR

      • Collaborate with Identity and Access Management team on rebuild of our Business Partner Portal

      Requirements:

      • Must currently be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program at a college or university

      • Majoring in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related security field with a graduation date of May 2024 or later

      • A minimum GPA of 2.8

      • Documentation of authorization to work in the United States, not requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future

      • Technical knowledge and skills, completed course work, projects, or relevant work related experience

      • Familiarity with coding languages, Python or PowerShell are preferred

      • Development experience is a plus

      • Flexible‌ ‌schedule,‌ ‌available‌ to work up to 15 ‌hours‌ ‌per‌ ‌week‌ ‌

      • Must be available to work hybrid at Colgate’s Piscataway, NJ location

        • Every Tuesday or Wednesday preferred, hours can be flexible


      Compensation and Benefits
      Salary Range $21.75 - $31.00 USD

      Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.

      Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:

      • Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.
      • Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate's 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements
      • Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually
      • Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually
      • Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year
      • Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
