      The Information Security OT Security Consultant is a role supporting the cybersecurity and manufacturing security program at Lodi. This individual provides leadership, executive support, and strategic and tactical guidance for a world-class OT and cybersecurity program supporting enterprise security initiatives. As a business enabler, the individual in the role must be an effective communicator with the technical aptitude to drive operational technology (OT) security fundamentals into aspects of the business.

      This position is part of the Information Security/IT department and will be an onsite role based in Lodi, California. As part of a critical process within Information Security, our vision is to help Cepheid Manufacturing, identify, mitigate, and manage information security and OT risks in a systematic manner. Lodi plays a vital role in Cepheid's manufacturing operations, so the chosen candidate must have experience in working within and supporting and securing a manufacturing plant environment.

      As a member of the Information Security team, the primary responsibility of the Operational Technology (OT) Security Consultant (Lodi) is to oversee, coordinate, and drive the implementation of key information security and OT Security processes, projects, and programs. This involves collaboration with Information Security, IT, manufacturing operations, and business teams. The individual must deliver high-quality services on time, communicate security risks effectively, and demonstrate facilitation and influencing skills.

      • Work in collaboration with parent company stakeholders to understand and implement information and OT security program methodologies and solutions to effectively manage expectations and communicate program updates to stakeholders.
      • Maintain a constant focus on security threats and the methodologies that reduce and mitigate IT and OT cyber-risks using industry-based processes, tools, and metrics.
      • Maintain security by monitoring and ensuring compliance with standards, policies, and procedures, conducting analysis of risk and implementing controls to compensate for known issues.
      • Serve as a liaison and point of contact to integrate cybersecurity into regional business processes and incorporate security into business projects and initiatives.
      • Be proactively engaged in IT and OT security projects at the Lodi site.
      • Demonstrate Best Team Wins by willing to supporting security/IT teams with key projects and operational activities as needed continuously looking for areas for improvement and facilitate lessons learned for the future projects and engagements.
      • Conduct regular technical and non-technical management meetings with stakeholders to communicate progress and address any risks or challenges regarding projects.
      • Understand changes to security, IT and manufacturing technologies by monitoring security standards, publications and news, by monitoring the security environment.

      The essential requirements of the job include:

      • Bachelor’s degree in business information systems or equivalent.
      • Minimum 5-10 years of IT and OT security and related experience, preferably in a manufacturing plant at a multi-national firm.
      • Experience managing multiple projects and tasks. Must be self-motivated, goal-oriented, strong self-accountability, and results-driven in alignment with organizational goals.
      • Experience with working with various information manufacturing/operational technologies (OT) technologies (e.g., AWS & Azure cloud technologies, networking technologies, OT security tools, business applications and architectural methodologies)
      • Experience with information and manufacturing/operational technologies (OT) security processes, data classification processes, and industry standard implementation methodologies.
      • Experience designing, implementing, and sustaining information security controls and associated processes.

      It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
      • Solid sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and managing strong business relationships in a cross-matrix environment to achieve objectives.
      • Good communication skills and ability to efficiently elaborate issues and risks to all partners and senior management.
      • Experience working in a highly collaborative environment and promoting a collaboration-mentality to develop, deliver, operationalize, document, and support solutions.
      • Excellent facilitation skills and ability to use influence to negotiate positive outcomes.
