- Implement tactical components of the global Information Systems strategy at an enterprise level.
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand business needs.
- Manage the development and implementation of Information Systems initiatives to support business strategy and needs.
- Provide strategic vendor management advice and contract development processes to Director, Information Systems, department leaders, country office leadership and others as needed.
- Review service provider performance.
- Identify and confirm performance problems and notify contract managers.
- Define infrastructure strategy including cloud strategy, virtualization strategy, cybersecurity strategy, networking and internet connectivity strategy, and hardware.
- Provide input and consultation on application strategy, collaboration and communication tools, vendor and supplier relationships to Director of Information Systems, department leads, country office leadership and others as needed
- Implements solutions consistent within current context of overall architecture.
- Participate in developing Information Systems budgets.
- Track and manage Infrastructure expenses to stay within budget.
- Provide high-quality services at optimal cost to internal customers.
- Measure service performance and implement improvements.
- Meet regularly with team and individual team members to gather work statuses, including work progress and obstacles.
- Advise, guide, encourage, and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure work, information, ideas and technology flow freely across the organization.
- Establish individual and team objectives aligned with business and organizational goals and strategies.
- Ensure the Safeguarding of program participants and employees through promoting an environment of awareness and upholding the code of conduct provisions of Medical Teams Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Abuse & Harassment, Child & Vulnerable Adult protection, and harassment-free workplace policies. Incumbents will remain alert and responsive to any child and adult safeguarding risks, acquire relevant knowledge and skills which will enable you to promote strong safeguarding practices, understand the child and adult safeguarding policy and procedures, and conduct yourself in a manner consistent with the Safeguarding code of conduct and behavior expectations

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible Information Systems and business/industry work.
- Experience managing a team and building relationships with people at a variety of levels, across teams and with external vendors.
- Demonstrated ability to launch and deliver one or more projects on time and within budget.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, as necessary.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and cloud hosting environments and tools.
- Experience implementing, operating, maintaining, and supporting complex systems employing system life cycles and best practices such as those embodied in ITIL and ISO 9000 standards.
- Experience project managing largescale and global infrastructure projects.
- Exposure to global network and fleet management, particularly in humanitarian and development contexts.
- Design, configure, and administration of an Enterprise Directory Service, such as Active Directory, and Azure AD (Entra).
- Microsoft Azure administrator or similar cloud-based platform such as AWS.
- Network administration including data center operations, Meraki networking, public DNS, Cellular networks
- Cybersecurity and Microsoft Defender and Sentinel tools or similar cybersecurity platforms.
- Virtual machines administration and VMWare
- Understanding of project management methodologies and tools with prior exposure to project management practices, is preferred
- Skilled at Microsoft Entra/Azure administration, including Identity, Applications, PIM, SaaS/SSO/SAML integration, Conditional Access, Multifactor Authentication, and Global Secure Access
- Skilled at network administration including network architecture, intranet/extranet/website architecture, development and administration and connectivity and internet
- Microsoft 365 services administration, including Users & Groups, Intune device management/Autopilot deployment/app deployment/scripts/config profiles/compliance policies, Exchange Online, Teams conferencing and voice using Direct Routing, Defender suite, and Universal Print
- Skilled at Windows server administration: VMware ESXi and vCenter, Azure ARC, cloud backup, Active Directory hybrid administration, DNS/DHCP/GPO, PKI and Certificate Authority, security patching, and service synchronization
- Skilled at cybersecurity, such as phish test campaigns, testing campaigns, incident escalation management, user/group management, SOC vendor relationship management, vulnerability hardening, etc.
- Skilled at negotiating multi-year contracts with IT suppliers to provide licenses to 2,000+ employees across 10+ countries
- Skilled at business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR), including automated backup of servers, devices, applications and documents
- Skilled at setting up and administering internet connectivity for multiple medium to large scale office environments including ISP selection and engagement, setup of modems and firewall devices, routers, switches, ethernet cabling, etc.
- Skilled at designing, developing, and implementing global standards for IT onboarding and offboarding in a humanitarian setting
- Skilled at setting up and administering single sign-on (SSO) across a wide range of applications
- Skilled at establishing and ensuring implementation of global standards for setting up laptops in a humanitarian setting
- Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening and empathy

Salary Range: Please note that the typical hiring range is $92,000 - $104,000 annually. Job offers within the range are based on relevant job qualifications and pay equity.
JOB SUMMARY
The Information Systems Manager – Infrastructure contributes to Medical Teams International’s calling by managing and maintaining global Information Systems processes and standards related to infrastructure. The role manages services provided to a global audience across multiple geographies, and focuses on core enabling infrastructure of information systems, including hosting and virtualization, storage, networking, directory services, security and end-point management.
