- Plan, develop, and implements proven high-tech solutions to increase security and defend against hacking, malware and ransomware, insider threats, and other types of information systems/cyber-crimes.
- Oversee monitoring of computer networks, identifies security issues, and anticipates security breaches.
- Execute the installation and maintenance of security programs, plans, and software, including firewalls and data encryption programs.
- Assure protection of the organization's data and infrastructure by enabling the appropriate security controls.
- Investigate and analyze security breaches and cyber security incidents to determine the source of the issues, and assesses the damaged caused.
- Document all parts of security incidents or breaches.
- Oversee security technology and audit or intrusion systems.
- Develop and handle secure network solutions to protect against advanced persistent threats.
- Keep abreast of industry security trends and developments, as well as applicable government regulations.
- Knowledge of new and emerging information technology (IT) and cybersecurity technologies.
- Knowledge of system and application security threats and vulnerabilities (e.g., buffer overflow, mobile code, cross-site scripting, Procedural Language/Structured Query Language [PL/SQL] and injections, race conditions, covert channel, replay, return-oriented attacks, malicious code).
- Microsoft suite of systems
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Travel required two weeks per year.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and written.
- Ability to multi-task and employ problem-solving skills.

LOCATION: MCAS Yuma, Arizona
JOB DESCRIPTION: Sehlke Consulting is currently seeking qualified candidates to provide Cyber/Information Systems Security Support to Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Yuma commands. The project includes technical contracted services solutions that will accelerate product delivery, enhance data analytics, and optimize the effectiveness of resources provided Testing and Evaluation. This effort requires a comprehensive solution that seamlessly integrates the personnel, processes, systems, and data necessary to reliably deliver data packages, measure of effectiveness and recommendations for improvement effectiveness, and recommend improvements to the Marine Aviation user community.
Duties and expectations include, but are not limited to the following:
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Secret
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Desired: Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP); Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 5+ years’ experience performing assessments and penetration tests to identify network and system vulnerabilities, troubleshoots security and network problems, determines the best way to avoid them, and responds to system or network security breaches.
SYSTEM SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
