- Support the maintenance of all company IT-related platforms and devices including internal databases to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company property.
- Plan and coordinate installations, test, and troubleshoot computer systems.
- Acts as software support, providing technical assistance to staff. Responds to user requests for service and determine the nature and extent of support needed.
- Performs hardware/software upgrades to existing computer equipment as needed.
- Troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties and provide first-line support either in person or via phone, email, and fast support.
- Utilize the AIM ticket system to track and report ISG utilization rates.
- New office set up/networking, assemble and disassemble personal computer components, including cabling.
- AA/AS degree in a computer-related field plus two years of relevant experience OR
- The combination of education and experience enables the performance of all aspects of the position.

The IT Generalist will conduct first-level support for users, ensure the currency of information and provide installation and training services as needed. The IT Generalist will also develop productivity tools and processes that will increase the usability and effectiveness of AIM’s technology environment.
