      POSITION SUMMARY


      The IT Manager is responsible for oversight of the IT operations of PRM through coordinating, planning, and leading the technology-related activities in the organization. The manager helps determine the IT needs for PRM and is responsible for implementing technology and computer systems to fulfill the organization’s information technology requirements.


      ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

      • Directly manage the IT staff, including providing training and development, onboarding new staff, monitoring performance, and promoting a positive collaborative culture.
      • Ensure that IT staff are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated to fulfill their responsibilities.
      • Coordinate activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of IT staff.
      • Develop and implement IT policy and best practice guides for the organization.
      • Consult with management and other personnel regarding needs for IT equipment and infrastructure.
      • Analyze department needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions.
      • Deploy and maintain technology systems including but not limited to computers, local servers, network printers, VoIP phones, cameras, wireless networking equipment, teleconference equipment and other hardware and software systems, engaging with third-party vendors when necessary.
      • Ensure network components meet PRM’s needs and work together seamlessly using the full range of capabilities and stay informed about new features and competitive solutions.
      • Administer network and data security, including developing disaster procedures and maintaining data backups.
      • Train employees on both software and hardware, troubleshoot, and provide technical support when needed, including monitoring and working the IT ticketing system.
      • Responsible for overseeing and maintaining the access control system, ensuring secure and authorized access to facilities and resources.
      • Educate coworkers about network security and best practices for computer usage.
      • Recommend budget adjustments for IT costs annually and manage and report on allocation of IT budget.
      • Oversee the audio-visual equipment for PRM locations and events and perform the setup, ensuring that it works and meets the user’s needs.
      • Demonstrate understanding and comply with all relevant legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements, company policies and procedures, and the Code of Ethical Conduct.
      • Follow the Mission’s Statement of Faith and lifestyle and adhere to the Mission’s employee policy manual and guidelines set forth by the CEO.
      • Participate in devotions, prayers, or other organizational activities that promote a credible Christian witness and lifestyle.
      • Performs other duties within scope as assigned.

      Requirements

      EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

      • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information systems, computer science, or related field or a combination of education and experience or equivalent experience
      • 2 years of related experience in information technology
      • Knowledge of IT best practices, policies, and regulations and of computer science and digital security
      • Experience in training adults to use software

      • Must meet and maintain the requirements of being an approved driver and driving a personal vehicle on PRM business
