      As a key member of the Security Operations team, the Security Analyst supports our production environment, protecting it from the latest information security threats. The Analyst is responsible for executing documented cyber threat management processes. The Security Analyst will focus on real-time security events analysis to protect the organization's electronic assets. Requires a strong and demonstrable passion for Information Security. Networking and prior IT experience is a plus. Candidates must show willingness to learn, have strong self-directed work habits, demonstrate initiative, drive, creativity, self-assurance, and professionalism. Excellent teamwork skills are necessary.

      WHAT YOU’LL DO

      • Execute Daily Incident Response Processes and Checklists.
      • Manage the IR Incidents Lifecycle.
      • Create actionable items out of threat intelligence feeds.
      • Participate in red team blue team exercises.
      • Perform research and data analysis of possible security events and proactively identify and communicate status.
      • Document and investigate security incidents according to the security incident response policy.
      • Resolve service impacting events, restore service and provide root cause analysis.
      • Support team as necessary on high-priority high visibility problems
      • Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reports as needed.
      • This position does require 24 x 7 availability to support operations where necessary.
      • Performs other duties as necessary.
      • Represents the Company in a professional manner at all times. Consistently. maintains a professional courteous attitude when dealing with residents, coworkers and the general public.

      PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

      • 0 - 4 years of experience as an Incident Responder and Security Operations
      • Understanding of the following areas:
        • Malware analysis processes
        • Threat intelligence activities.
        • Digital Forensics Incident Response
        • Threat Hunting
      • Exposure to IP addressing and subnetting, routing protocols, VPN concepts, VLAN configuration and concepts and L2/L3 switching technologies.
      • Candidates must possess a good understanding of DMZ architectures.
      • Good layer 2 to layer 7 troubleshooting experience.
      • Exposure to major system applications and databases.
      • Good understanding and working knowledge of routing protocols.
      • Must demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills
      • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
      • Detail oriented, conscientious, thorough and accurate analysis.
      • Process orientated with the ability to clarify objectives, evaluate options, consider implications, assess risks, and make key decisions.
      • Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills along with effective communication (both written and verbal) skills.
      • Good planning and problem solving skills.
      • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments in an environment that requires multitasking among concurrent projects.
      • Ability to convey network concepts and issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
      • The candidate should have a demonstrated ability to write with clarity and accuracy.

      Salary: $108,000 - $132,000 per year; in addition to base salary, a discretionary annual bonus is provided.

      The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and qualifications.
