What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Administer the INFOSEC program to ensure compliance with IT principles, methods, and security regulations
- Implement procedures for the protection of information transmitted within and from the installation
- Manage the Communications Security (COMSEC) program, including the control of cryptographic material
- Conduct semi-annual reviews of COMSEC user accounts and inspect facilities for compliance
- Protect IT assets through the administration of the COMPUSEC Program against unauthorized data modifications
What is Required (Qualifications):
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Males must be registered for Selective Service
- Current certifications must be maintained
- A security clearance may be required
- Availability to work outside normal duty hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in administering information security programs
- Knowledge of cryptographic access programs and communications security
- Familiarity with the regulations and policies governing IT security
- Previous work in environments requiring compliance with security protocols
