- Operate and test infrared focal plane arrays: Utilize computer frame grabbers, test electronics, and generate test plans.
- Perform data analysis: Analyze test data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Troubleshoot electronic test boards and contribute to electronic design: Resolve issues and improve electronic systems.
- Collaborate with team members: Coordinate test and system activities.
- Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in physics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, or related field.
- Lab experience.
- Experience with scripting software languages.
- US Citizenship: Required for security clearance.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
- MATLAB
- Physics background
- Electronic troubleshooting (digital and analog)
- Data collection from imaging sensors
- Signal processing
- SQL database knowledge
- Leadership and project management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Teamwork ability
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office

This position is based in Goleta, California, near the University of California, Santa Barbara. It is part of the Santa Barbara Focalplane program within the Missiles and Fire Control business unit at Lockheed Martin.
