- Serve as subject matter expert identifying, designing, and proposing complex infrastructure solutions and services to solve project and/or business needs.
- Innovate, propose, proof, and design new architecture or technologies or for the improvement of existing systems and applications.
- Develop and drive the infrastructure standards, processes, systems architecture, and design patterns to support business.
- Define and refine the methodology and standards for setup and design of infrastructure to meet the needs of the business and external customers.
- Assist with IT functions such as design, needs analysis, evaluation, testing, in support of one or more functional areas.
- Perform troubleshooting, resolution and problem analysis.
- Maintain in-depth documentation of activities and system configuration.
- May perform other job duties as assigned.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience with Microsoft Server and Application Support.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with DevOps.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in managing Firewalls.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A growth mentality.
- Ability to travel up to 5% to attend JH meetings, trainings, and/or professional conferences.
- Experience with containerizing (Docker and/or Kubernetes).
- Experience working with SQL Server in a development and/or infrastructure role.
- Experience with EES (Enterprise Eventing System).
- Experience with FortiSIEM.
- Experience with ESM (Enterprise Security Monitoring).
- Experience with Octopus Deploy.
- Experience with programming languages (i.e., PowerShell, C#/.Net, Golang).
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery.
- Experience with automation.
- Experience with Elasticsearch.
- Experience working with cloud computing (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Jack Henry is seeking an experienced Architect to join our Infrastructure Architecture team. This team serves as the bridge between our development, infrastructure, and customer support groups. Our applications are horizontally and vertically scalable, highly performant, and highly available. You’d be joining a team that works tirelessly behind the scenes to take our solutions and put them to work for our customers.
Highly effective communication is a key skill in this position collaborating between stakeholders, management, and the Development and Operations teams. This individual will interface between teams to drive proof-of-concept and implementations, alternating between strategy and hands-on work.
This position will be filled to work at remotely within the U.S.
The target salary range for this position is $78,400 - $120,000, based on location and experience.
