Now, we’re looking for a dedicated and motivated Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and help us deliver excellence to our customers in Huntington, WV!

      We are currently looking for a dynamic full-time Infrastructure Engineer to join the team in Huntington, WV.

      Supervisory Responsibilities:

      • May provide guidance and oversight to technical support staff during network-related projects or troubleshooting efforts.
      • Collaborate with other IT professionals, including system administrators, cybersecurity specialists, technical support staff, and external vendors.

      Duties/Responsibilities:

      • Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
      • Install, configure and maintain telephony and video related hardware and software, including IP based PBX, phones, and video endpoints.
      • Monitor network performance to ensure availability and reliability, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and connectivity issues.
      • Manage and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and other network services.
      • Implement and enforce network security policies, firewall configurations, and access control standards.
      • Provide support and resolution for escalated network-related service requests.
      • Create and maintain detailed documentation including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
      • Conduct regular network performance evaluations and propose necessary upgrades.
      • Assist in planning and implementing disaster recovery and backup solutions.
      • Stay current on emerging network technologies, protocols, and security threats.
      • Participate in IT projects and assist in system upgrades, software rollouts, and infrastructure planning.
      • Install, configure, and maintain video surveillance and security camera systems.
      • Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards related to IT infrastructure and security.
      • Performs other duties as assigned.

      Required Skills/Abilities:

      • Solid understanding of networking protocols, concepts, and services (TCP/ IP, VLANs, VPNs, etc.).
      • Proficiency with Cisco, Extreme Networks, or similar network equipment.
      • Proficiency with IP-based telephony technologies.
      • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in both hardware and software networking issues.
      • Familiarity with security tools and protocols including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion prevention systems.
      • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support end users and cross-functional teams.
      • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
      • Proficient in documentation and technical writing.

      Education and Experience:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience required.
      • Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience in network administration, network support, or a similar role.
      • Experience with LAN/WAN environments, TCP/IP protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless technologies.
      • Prior work with Microsoft Windows Server (2008 and newer), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policies preferred.
      • Familiarity with Cisco routers, switches, and other network appliances is highly desirable.

      Physical Requirements:

      • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
      • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
      • Must be able to crawl under desks or into server closets to run cables and perform hardware installation or maintenance.
      • Occasional travel to remote sites for network maintenance, installations, or troubleshooting.
