  ISG Infrastructure team manages 200+ applications running across more than 10K physical and virtual servers. The mission is to deliver exceptional infrastructure solutions and to provide innovative services creating measurable competitive advantage for Infrastructure Service Group while maintaining a healthy estate. The Senior Infrastructure Manager is a senior management-level position responsible for managing and guiding a team that ensures efficient and effective Citi infrastructure in coordination with the Technology Team. The Senior Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for Infrastructure Procurement, Cyber risk management, Cloud Infrastructure management, Tooling and Automation, Linux and Windows Estate management.

  Responsibilities

  • Be a Trusted partner to business to support their Infrastructure needs.
  • Shape and adopt the strategic technology roadmap.
  • Assure that infrastructure requests are in alignment with strategic design requirements and engineering best practices.
  • Conduct financial forecasting, securing funding, in collaboration with business unit managers and SMTs. Prioritize infrastructure needs
  • Understand the existing infrastructure technology (Cloud Services, Infrastructure Virtualization, Containers, High Availability Application and Database clusters, distributed systems, big data, and Integration technologies), capacity management, and financial analysis
  • Oversight to Inventory Management, Infrastructure Support, Break fix support, upkeep, maintenance, and migration support.
  • Cyber Hygiene Management reporting including Vulnerability and Patch Management
  • Infrastructure health oversight
  • Engagement with Clients and CTI teams to ensure transparency and seamless execution of tasks
  • Design an Infrastructure BAU Dashboard that will allow scheduling, tracking and execution of day-to-day application activities
  • Focus on process improvement between CTI and ICG Teams
  • Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards and recommend reengineering efforts for continuous improvement

  Required skills

  • 10+ years of experience in a technology infrastructure role with experience in people and project management and selected infrastructure technologies.
  • Experience leading an infrastructure team including decisions on hiring, performance management, talent development
  • Demonstrate accountability, leadership, independent initiatives, and willingness to lead and work with teams across multiple locations and time zones.
  • Prior experience in large scale enterprise infrastructure support, re-engineering, performance fine tuning and cost
  • Logical thinking, strong analytical and problem-solving skills; innovative and solutions oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – including ability to communicate and presenting to senior management and business audiences.
  • Proven experience building scalable and performance-oriented systems
  • High degree of integrity, ethics, and confidentiality.
    

  Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure Virtualization, Containers, High Availability Application and Database clusters and distributed systems.
  • Experience in architecture and deployment strategies leveraging physical & cloud services.
  • Demonstrated understanding of technology tools and implications of costs for large scale forecasting
  • Knowledge of OpenShift, AWS, GCP or Azure

  Education

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
