- Lead the architecture, implementation, and management of Azure-based solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
- Design and oversee Imprivata authentication and identity access management solutions for secure user authorization across clinical and operational systems.
- Establish standards for cloud security, identity federation, single sign-on (SSO), and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
- Collaborate with enterprise IT teams to integrate Azure-hosted applications with on-premise and hybrid environments.
- Work with project managers to align architecture designs with corporate strategies and business objectives.
- Conduct infrastructure assessments, identifying areas for optimization and performance improvements.
- Define policies for network security, role-based access control (RBAC), and privileged identity management (PIM) within cloud environments.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex technical challenges related to Azure infrastructure and identity authorization frameworks.
- Partner with vendors and stakeholders to evaluate emerging technologies, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, HITRUST, and NIST cybersecurity standards.
- Balancing cloud scalability with cost optimization while maintaining high availability.
- Ensuring security best practices in identity management while simplifying user authentication workflows.
- Managing hybrid cloud complexities, integrating legacy on-premise infrastructure with Azure services.
- Addressing emerging cybersecurity threats in healthcare environments, ensuring secure access to critical systems.
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture, networking, storage, and security controls.
- Strong understanding of Imprivata authentication, identity management, and authorization technologies.
- Experience designing role-based access control (RBAC) models for enterprise systems.
- Knowledge of Azure AD, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and single sign-on (SSO) integration strategies.
- Familiarity with cloud governance frameworks, including cost management and risk mitigation.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, providing technical mentorship and guidance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience: 7+ years in IT infrastructure and cloud architecture, with specialization in Azure and access management.
- Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Imprivata Certified Administrator (preferred).
- Office-based and cloud architecture development environments.
- Occasional travel for data center or site visits.
Infrastructure Solutions Architect
The Infrastructure Solutions Architect – Azure & Imprivata Authorization is responsible for designing, planning, and implementing enterprise infrastructure solutions that support organizational objectives. This role provides expert oversight in cloud-based architectures, identity and access management, and secure authorization frameworks. The Architect collaborates with cross-functional IT teams to ensure seamless system integrations, reliability, and compliance within a complex healthcare technology environment.
This position requires a deep understanding of Azure cloud infrastructure, virtual networking, storage solutions, and advanced access management using Imprivata authentication and authorization platforms. Working closely with senior IT leadership and project teams, the architect facilitates technology strategies that improve performance, security, and scalability across enterprise applications and data centers.
