Job Description
- Req#: 101041
- Provide Tier II level customer support documented through Help Desk Program’s ticketing system (e.g., diagnose, analyze, & resolve issues for customers with virus and security issues, printer, phones, A/V and web conference, network connections, installation and maintenance and configuration of hardware and software)
- Utilize vendor supplied and 3rd party utilities for monitoring; diagnoses, analyzes and resolves issues for customer(s) in assigned single technology domain
- Configure users for Mobile Device Management (MDM)
- Maintain DEV security groups & email distribution lists in active directory, user and email account changes, grants access to directory files, share permissions and email accounts
- Promote system security and awareness by adhering to Agency’s and/or State’s Information Technology (i.e., IT) security policy(s) and standards
- Recommend changes in IT procedures to meet customer needs
- Evaluate and/or research hardware and/or software solutions and provides feedback to project team or higher-level staff

The Infrastructure Specialist 1 will serve as technical expert responsible for installing, maintaining, configuring, upgrading and/or administering hardware and/or software independently in workstation support.

This position requires you to work in the office Monday-Friday with flexibility in starting and ending times. The job is located in the Vern Riffe building, 77 South High St. Columbus, OH 43215
