      Trading Infrastructure is a global organization of Engineers who architect, build and maintain our world-class infrastructure. From colo design/implementation, to optimizing our exchange connectivity, to building world class low latent Wide Area Networks, we leverage research and automation to consistently adapt and innovate our infrastructure to scale and drive our trading and evolving business.

      What You'll Do:

      • Provide hands on, technical, leadership and ownership for major infrastructure projects - particularly in Jump’s HPC infrastructure
      • Oversee the successful implementation of new compute, storage and network infrastructure
      • Support and troubleshoot high-performance network infrastructure, including the latest InfiniBand and Ethernet technology
      • Leverage automation skills and take a "dev ops" approach to improve efficiency of solving complex network infrastructure issues, network management, and maintenance of applications
      • Demonstrates a high level of energy, results driven and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
      • Other duties as assigned or needed

      Skills You'll Need:

      • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field preferred
      • Previous experience demonstrating strategic thinking skills and maturity in tackling complex problems, dealing with people, technology and processes
      • Ability to work well as part of global team in a fast-paced environment
      • Good judgment, ability to evaluate short and long-term impact, and confidence to select and execute decision when required and take full responsibility for end results
      • Experience working with major IT vendors to troubleshoot and resolve both implementation “teething problems” and break-fix type activity independently
      • Experience working on project planning, including using automated tools to prepare for deployment and collaborating with other teams
      • Extremely high personal standards for work quality
      • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will be working to support a global engineering team
      • Experience with networking concepts, configuration and troubleshooting. A qualification like CCNA is great; equivalent experience is also fine
      • Experience programming (such as in Python)
      • Experience working at the command line of Linux systems doing basic system troubleshooting
      • Experience with open-source config management systems such as puppet
      • Experience planning for space, power, and structure cabling within data center environment
      • Reliable and predictable availability

      Annual Base Salary Range
      $125,000 $150,000 USD
