Was wir bieten
Die HBH Microwave GmbH in Stutensee bei Karlsruhe wurde 1999 gegründet und beschäftigt rund 50 Mitarbeiter. Seit Anfang des Jahres 2020 gehört HBH Microwave GmbH zur TRUMPF Hüttinger GmbH + Co. KG mit Sitz in Freiburg. Damit erweiterte TRUMPF Hüttinger sein Technologieportfolio um halbleiterbasierte Solid-State-Mikrowellengeneratoren. Diese werden bei industriellen Anwendungen wie Plasmaerzeugung, industriellem Erwärmen, in Kommunikations- oder Radartechnologien eingesetzt. Gleichzeitig hat TRUMPF Hüttinger mit dem Zukauf sein Geschäft im Markt für Teilchenbeschleuniger erweitert. Teilchenbeschleuniger spielen vor allem in der Medizin und der Industrie eine bedeutende Rolle. Zu den medizinischen Verwendungen zählen unter anderem die Strahlen- und Partikeltherapie in der Krebsbehandlung.
