Job Description
- Req#: R64271
- Setup, adjust, troubleshoot, and repair production injection molding equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Communicate and collaborate with maintenance and production to ensure timely line setup/change-over.
- Collaborate with other teammates in technical solutions and implementation.
- Lead and develop skills of molding department employees and assist in directing work and assignments.
- Prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Adhere to timelines and excel in a fast-paced high-energy environment.
- Participate in continuous process improvement to increase production efficiencies.
- Enroll in an Injection Mold Setup apprenticeship program and attend classes toward completion in a timely manner.
- Participate in training and classes as directed.
- All other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Previous injection molding experience preferred
- Successful completion of Mechanical Aptitude test
- Established ability to identify and communicate issues and offer proposed solutions
- Great attention to detail is required
- Ability to manage interruptions in a professional and respectful manner is essential
- Above basic math skills and reasoning ability
- Moderate computer and Microsoft Office skills
- Forklift certification
