- Work alongside Senior Bankers and Product Partners to execute payments and credit transactions from initial pitch through to close for both existing and prospective clients
- Prepare marketing materials for use in client meetings covering topics such as financing, working capital optimization, industry and peer analysis
- Support Senior Bankers to help generate new revenue opportunities from prospects and existing clients
- Collaborate with credit underwriting teams on analysis and documentation of credit requests
- Build and use financial models to support financing transactions; and to assist with reporting requirements and data management
- Develop an understanding of the full breadth of J.P. Morgan products and service offerings, including but not limited to M&A, debt capital markets, equity capital markets, and treasury services
- Relevant experience in Corporate or Investment Banking experience
- Proficient analytical, and modelling skills
- Organized, detail-oriented and proactive
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment
- Highly motivated team player with solid communication and project management skills
- Outstanding ethics, integrity and judgment
- Excel and Power Point skills
- Fluent in French, German, Italian or Spanish a plus
- Outstanding academic credentials
The Innovation Economy Banking group is part of Global Corporate Bank at JP Morgan Chase and focuses on companies specifically focused on banking, payments and lending opportunities to venture capital backed high growth companies in the Technology and Life Sciences space.
Job Summary:
As an Analyst in our Innovation Economy team, you will play an integral part to gain, manage and maintain client relationships within the VC funded Innovation Economy sector. You will manage internal and external aspects of client relationships, including conducting industry and company research, helping with payment and credit analysis, and partnering with product and industry specialists within the Commercial and Investment Bank.
You will support deal teams and country leadership, with accountability for pitchbook preparation, transaction execution and reporting requirements, while ensuring seamless coordination among deal team members, product partners and internal stakeholders.
