- Previous experience in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Certification in Health Information Management (e.g., RHIT, RHIA)
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
