Job summary
Important note for candidates - unfortunately, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role and the minimum number of hours available per week is 22.5. We are looking for enthusiastic and dependable colleagues with Health and / or Social Care experience who can contribute to the care of our patients with kindness, compassion and empathy on our wards at the Evington Centre in the grounds of Leicester General Hospital. These wards provide sub-acute care, palliative care and complex rehabilitation.
Our wards are led by nurses and you will work under their guidance as part of a very supportive team. Experience of working in health and social care is essential. You will be supported to complete the Care Certificate and we actively encourage on-going development.
The post will provide cover on a rota basis over a 24 hour per day, 7 day a week service.
