Job Description
Opportunity:
Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, MO is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacy Tech to join our team. Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist performs all accountabilities associated with compounding, preparing, distributing and charging of medications. Assist in the filling and delivery of medication orders, maintaining automated dispensing cabinet stock, and assist with various duties as assigned.
• Pick, fill and deliver medication orders and Omnicell stock to appropriate locations
• Prepack drugs and compound medications including sterile products, chemotherapy, and special dosage forms (topicals, oral liquids, etc.)
• Assist with maintaining stock supplies in pharmacy department as needed
• Answer the phone/ front window, and assist with questions and requests
• Attend all department and technician meetingsCertified Pharmacy Technician required within 18 months of hire.
Shift: Full time evenings
2:00pm - 10:30pm Mon- Friday, with a weekend/holiday rotation.
