      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Oversee and review the integrity of ambulatory surgery coding/charging programs
      - Advise on coding reviews, audits, and the impact of new coding/billing regulations
      - Assist in writing policies and procedures related to coding and billing
      - Collaborate with coding leadership and specialists to ensure efficient coding processes
      - Support coding education and workflow training for outpatient coding

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma required; completion of a Coding Certificate program or Health Information Technology Program
      - 3-5 years of experience in clinical coding within a healthcare setting
      - In-depth knowledge of coding systems such as ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS
      - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
      - Proficiency in using coding software and electronic health record (EHR) systems

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - AS/BS in Health Information Technology/Administration or related healthcare administration program
      - Familiarity with coding guidelines and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH Act)
      - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
      - Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulatory changes in clinical coding
