- Effectively manage assigned territory to meet or exceed territory goals, including but not limited to new business premium production, total written premium production, and loss ratio.
- Build Territory Sales Plan to strategically determine which existing agencies to focus on and adding new agency appointments as needed. Use analytical skills and problem solving to interpret data within the agency or territory to make decisions.
- Conduct primarily virtual sales calls with agents to effectively execute on Territory Sales Plan. Proactively prioritize agent sales call activity while consistently identifying gaps and messaging appetite articulation to top producing agent partners creating increased flow of profitable new business.
- During agency interactions, use discovery sales skills process to identify opportunities with agents, evaluate competitor products, rates, and new programs, and recommend solutions to overcome objections and increase territory sales flow.
- Develop strategies and action plans to enable agents to maximize revenue with products, services, and profit-sharing programs which differentiates the sales representative from competitors through a clearly defined and consistent value proposition.
- Utilize data tools (Power BI) to monitor territory results against defined goals. Manage trends and communicate necessary revised sales strategies and territorial review action plans to achieve profitable sales objectives.
- Manage agent sales planning commitments, production plans, sales call activity, and agency review process with effective use of Customer Relationship Management tools.
- Build and maintain strong relationships at all levels of an agency; develop rapport with industry peers and trade associations; coordinate territory functions/breakfast meetings; develop relationships with internal departments necessary to achieve corporate objectives; and inform agent-customers of success/new business written, product enhancements, etc.
- Develop and monitor territorial/state target market plans.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 2-4 years of sales or underwriting experience preferred

What you need:
Salary Range: $60,000-$82,000
The final salary to be paid and position within the internal salary range will take into consideration the individual’s work experience, geographic location, education, certification(s) or additional qualifications, and scope and responsibilities within the role.
