      Inside Sales Consultant

      As a remote Inside Sales Consultant, you are a member of our residential sales channel, responsible for the acquisition of new customers and the retention of existing customers. You will become a subject matter expert on all IGS residential and home warranty products and utilize effective sales techniques to build relationships with customers. Not only will you earn an hourly salary, the commissions are uncapped!

      Primary Responsibilities:

      Acquire and retain customers by providing an exceptional customer experience during outbound calls.
      Utilize a proven sales process to discover each customer’s unique needs and recommend natural gas, electricity and home warranty products.
      Appropriately navigate systems, procedures, and other resources to ensure the customer receives an exceptional experience on every interaction.
      Be accountable for becoming a contributing team member by consistently achieving all sales objectives and following the established departmental goals, policies, and procedures.
      Keep detailed records of sales activity in the Customer Relations Manager (CRM).
      Proactively learn and effectively demonstrate full understanding of current marketing programs and offerings; communicate clearly to assist customers in making informed decisions.
      Maximize call opportunities through consultative selling approach.
      Track weekly and monthly performance and sales metrics.
      Skills & Abilities:

      Able to adapt and grow in a changing, fast-paced work environment.
      Highly sales motivated with excellent customer service, retention, and sales closing skills.
      Must be able to maintain proper phone etiquette, demonstrate patience and consistently strive for a positive attitude, while identifying and overcoming customer objections.
      Demonstrate a tenacious drive for results.
      Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to make a connection with a diverse array of customers over the phone.
      Genuine desire to grow, learn and succeed, as well as contribute positively to a team-oriented work environment.
      Proficient computer skills required: data entry, email, customer relationship management software.
      Strong interpersonal, negotiating, and listening skills with the ability to respond to customer needs and resistance.
      Experience with a dialer or a comparable system.
      Ability to work a flexible schedule; to include evenings and alternating Saturdays if necessary.


      Minimum Education & Experience:

      High school diploma or equivalent.
      Prior sales, customer service or a related job function in the energy industry is a plus.


      Systems Requirements:

      If hired, an internet connection of a minimum 30mpbs is required. IGS will provide all other equipment.
