      Meaningful Work From Day One

      The position's scope is to positively influence company behaviour through all elements of Marketing Mix by identifying insights from various data sources. This position is responsible for delivering analysis of multi-market trends, developing tools & reports and close co-operation with the marketing, trade marketing & sales team. The SENCE Insight analyst is an important stakeholder in Brown-Forman regional objective to build a reputation as an entrepreneurially spirited company, dedicated to achieving sustainable long-term growth that acts as a trusted partner.
      This role will report into the Insight Manager of SENCE based in Milan. SENCE (Southern, Eastern, Northern, Central Europe) is a multi-geographical region operating mainly through 3rd Party model with more than 20 distributors.

      What You Can Expect:

      Basic Function:

      • Create and develop regular insightful reports based on available market data

      • Identify of Market & Category opportunities based on available sources

      • Support Ad-hoc projects and requests from Insights Manager, Marketing, Trade marketing and Commercial teams

      • Support annual brand & commercial planning

      • Provide actionable insights that enable the marketing teams to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and competitiveness of their brand building and sales activation campaigns

      • Collaboratively work across the broader insights function and in conjunction with finance analytics to join the dots and create the holistic business picture and powerful insights that gives our brands a competitive advantage


      Responsibilities:
      • Help identify key market, category, brand and channel trends in the spirits industry
      • Identify opportunities and threats for B-F brands based on syndicated market data joining the dots from various sources of information
      • Analyse BF and competitors market performance and identify actionable insights based on those
      • Deliver analytics & presentations based on Nielsen Data (mainly)
      • Support Quarterly Business Review preparation
      • Develop and deliver brand arguments with a fact basis that are superior to competitors in the market, resulting in increased acceptance of Brown-Forman recommendations
      • Collaboratively work with the Brown-Forman Marketing Team to help them reach better growth of Brown-Forman brands
      • Take part in cross functional projects led by the Insight team
      • Scan available data sources to deliver Market & Category insights resulting in B-F brands growth
      • Support Test & Learn approach across the business in cross functional projects
      • Manage retail based data (e.g Nielsen, IWSR, Takeaway data etc) to help ensure Brown–Forman’s investment in data is maximized

      What You Bring To The Table

      • Education: Bachelor's degree - Marketing, Economics, Enterprise management, Statistics

      • 4+ years experience in a marketing environment
      • 3+ years experience in data analysis (research agency, data analytics)
      • 3+ years experience of working with research tools & data analysis
      • Experience delivering Nielsen Presentations and regular reporting
      • Experience in spirits business
